Hello Running Buddy!
Younger me would have laughed at you if you suggested I’d become a runner. My dad was a runner my entire life, and I was NOT. I tried jogging with him a couple times in high school and lasted about 3 blocks. I never would have thought that in my 40s I’d absolutely fall in love with running.
Running has become a part of my daily and weekly routines.
So this? It’s everything I know about running. Everything I love about running. It’s everything that helped me become a runner (and all my favorite things about it).

While I had always jogged, for years it was never longer than three or four miles. Until my friends surprised me and signed me up for a 10k race (that’s a little over 6 miles).Â
I’m not going to lie, I was nervous. But with a good training plan, and the right running gear……
I ran my first 10k.Â
Then on to a half marathon, a bunch more 10ks, one of the hardest trail runs in the US and next up for me? A marathon.
